FOOD DRIVE DROP-OFF: THURSDAY DEC 16 – SUNDAY DEC 19
The pandemic continues to magnify the immediate need people have in accessing food and other necessities. The Daily Bread Food Bank shows the huge gaps some citizens in our city are facing:
- 1 in 5 adults & 1 in 4 children live in poverty in T.O.
- Since Jan 2021, Daily Bread has seen an average of 110,000 client visits per month vs 68,000 in 2019.
- This figure hit an all-time high in June 2021 with a record-breaking 124,000 visits.
- Specific Needs*: Feminine Hygiene products, baby diapers all sizes, tuna
To help support the Daily Bread Food Bank, TOCA is hosting a FOOD DRIVE. Details are below.
*Daily Bread Food Bank also encourages financial donations ($$) as it allows them to buy food on a large scale at cheaper prices. To donate directly visit dailybreadfoodbank.ca.

WHERE: Food Bank Boxes will be placed in the driveways of the following houses:
– 36 Orchard Crescent
– 39 Cliveden Avenue
– 28 Meadowcrest Road (corner of Meadowcrest + Thompson)
