Van Dusen Bridge Update

Damage to old bridge

It has been nearly two years since storm damages forced the closure of the Van Dusen pedestrian bridge over Mimico Creek. On behalf of residents on both sides of the creek, TOCA and our neighbours from Lora Hill Park organized a meeting, held on January 18th 2022, with Councillor Grimes, and the project managers leading the creek rehabilitation and bridge reconstruction, to get a detailed update on the project, particularly relating to concerns about the removal and replanting of trees in the creek lands.
